The Taber & District Chamber of Commerce helps promote special events, give special recognition to businesses who participate in and help foster community spirit and help grow attention to what is happening in the community.

The Taber & District Chamber of Commerce supports its members with efforts to increase local business and by promoting community events, including Cornfest, Annual Awards (Citizen of the Year, Small Business, Spirit of Taber, Employee of the Year), Annual Parade in conjunction with Taber Cornfest, the Taber Winter Festival along with Passport to Christmas, a local shopping initiative, and the Best Decorated Business. As well we help ACA with the Award-Winning Taber Pheasant Festival.

The Taber & District Chamber of Commerce consists of a Board of Directors who are volunteers from the community and one employee. All the events have Committees of Volunteers mostly comprised of the Board of Directors. Volunteering on an event committee without the commitment of being on the board is also welcomed by the Chamber.
